How I structure a Laravel e-commerce app

How I structure a Laravel e-commerce app — article by Tushar Imran
Most store builds fail in the same three places: catalog queries, checkout edge cases, and an admin that nobody wants to open. When I start a Laravel commerce project I keep products, variants, carts and orders as boring, explicit models. Coupons and inventory live next to those models, not in a plugin soup. The storefront can be Blade, Vue or Nuxt — the backend should not care. Software engineer Tushar Imran here, writing this down because I keep answering the same question: how do you keep a Bangladesh e-commerce codebase from turning into a theme? You treat checkout as a domain, not a page.

Vue and Nuxt on a Laravel backend

Vue and Nuxt on a Laravel backend — article by Tushar Imran
Laravel is happiest when it owns auth, data and jobs. Vue and Nuxt are happiest when they own interaction and rendering. The trick is a thin, documented API between them — not two apps that accidentally share a database. I use Nuxt when the page has to be crawlable on day one (marketing, catalogs, property listings). I use Vue when the work is an authenticated dashboard or a dense admin. Same language, different jobs. If you hire a full stack software engineer for this split, ask how they version the API and how they deploy the two surfaces. That answer tells you more than the framework logos.

Notes from shipping CRM systems in Dhaka

Notes from shipping CRM systems in Dhaka — article by Tushar Imran
CRM work is 20% tables and 80% “can the sales team trust this number by Thursday.” Pipelines, notes, assignments and reports have to stay consistent even when the data entry is messy. At Creative Tech Park I have been building those modules in Laravel with Vue dashboards: filters that do not lie, exports that match the screen, and permissions that match how the company actually works. The unglamorous win is an index page that stays fast at 50,000 rows. That is the software engineering, not the empty states.

What I look for in a full stack codebase

What I look for in a full stack codebase — article by Tushar Imran
A good Laravel and Vue codebase is quiet. Routes are obvious. Jobs have names you can say out loud. The frontend does not reinvent the backend’s validation. I look for: a README that matches production, tests around money and auth, image handling that is not “upload anything,” and a deploy path that does not require folklore. That is the bar I hold for my own work as a software engineer — and the bar I want if I join yours.
